Ed Kerr is a classical trained pianist, earning his Master's In Piano Performance (With Distinction) from Indiana University in Bloomington. He studied with Marion Hall.
He toured for 13 years with the popular singing group "Harvest", traveling the world playing keyboards, singing, and writing songs for the many recordings the group released.
He then began a season as an exclusive songwriter for Integrity Music. His many songs released on Integrity's recordings continue to be sung around the world.
Ed has been a keyboard specialist for Yamaha Music for many years, and currently plays their amazing CP88 keyboard. He has created eight 30-minute videos for Yamaha and continues to create content for them.
He has taught at worship conferences around the US and internationally, coaching keyboard players on contemporary keyboard style, music theory and all aspects of musicianship. He served as keyboard clinician in Paul Baloche's Leadworship Workshops throughout the US.
He continues to write and produce original songs as well as writing and producing music for solo piano. Ed coaches keyboard players and musicians in private lessons both in his studio and online as well as teaching at conferences. He is a member of the adjunct faculty at Concordia University/Irvine, where he teaches songwriting to students in Concordia's world-renowned commercial music program.
